Historique
Historical Hotel created in 1626, under the name of the three Moors, this exquisite residence, located in the historic center of Beaune was the link between Beaune and Nuits Saint Georges.
In 1981 Mr Serge BERNARD transformed the old residence into a charming hotel and changed its name.
The Hotel will bear the name of Henry II King of England, in memory of the many stories between Burgundy and England.
The transformations made illustrate all the charm of Beaune, a city attached to its prestigious past.
Part of its construction spreads historical monuments for any exterior modification, the other, modern, was designed in a spirit of harmony. This mix gives the whole a great elegance where reigns the courteous and quiet atmosphere of a traditional hotel. the hotel has 56 rooms all as different as each other.
Its excellent location allows you to discover on foot the historic city, its fortifications and wonderful Burgundy wines in complete serenity without abuse of course. The major wine houses are located a few minutes walk from the hotel. |
